Essentially, my idea is to write a new magnet mode for NEI, but i haven't the slightest clue where to start if i want NEI to register the new magnet mode with a button. I know i can look in the documentation, but since there is no official tutorial, looking at other peoples code to get started is kind of confusing for me...

 

I know i need a file called NEIxxxConfig.java, but how would i get it to load the addon from there?
