Partial screen on forge profile

i am on mc 1.7.10 and forge reccomender build. I have no mods or single player worlds. Help!

not to sound silly, but how do i  add -Dforge.forceNoStencil=true to the VM arguments in the launcher? I am new to this.

Iv'e been having the same problem so I added that to my JVM arguments in the launcher, but there is an error and it won't launch minecraft.
