Ambience and music

Hey,

is there any way to add custom ambience sounds and background music to the game using the Minecraft Forge API? I already searched the web, but just found plenty of tutorials that seem pretty outdated.

Something like playSound() will not do the job, since it can only be played at certain coordinates...

Any help is very appreciated!

I believe world.playerEntities will give you all the players in the world.

you will have to convert the list into players and use this:

player.posX...

You could play sounds at all players that way.

Ask me if you don't know how to get the player instance.
