http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,23363.msg118875.html#msg118875 suggest that bigger TNT explosions can be created without a fuse, i.e. TNT blows up immediately.

 

How do I make a bigger TNT explosion *with* a fuse ?

Ah, we did something like that but the code wasn't pretty. But if that's the only way, I guess we'll go with that

What is so difficult?

You can easily update your fuse in onUpdate();

Still a noobie to Forge.
