updating from 1.6 to 1.7-- getting which player sent a packet

Hello again! I finally have time to update my mod, but it appears how packets are being sent in 1.7 differs greatly from 1.6 I'm trying to use diesieben07's simpleNetworkWrapper tutorial but I'm getting a slight snag. I have an extended player class and I need to send packets to update their properties. I had this working in 1.6 by importing cpw.mods.fml.common.network.Player; to get the instance of the player who sent the packet, which I could then translate into my extended player class. However this package has been renamed or no longer exists. Can anyone tell me the new package name, or is there now a better way to do this with the SimpleNetworkWrapper?

Thanks in advance!

Veru useful thing:

In Client proxy:

@Override
public EntityPlayer getPlayerEntity(MessageContext ctx)
{
	// Double-check is inevitable!
	return (ctx.side.isClient() ? Minecraft.getMinecraft().thePlayer : super.getPlayerEntity(ctx));
}

In Common proxy:

/**
 * Returns a side-appropriate EntityPlayer for use during message handling.
 */
public EntityPlayer getPlayerEntity(MessageContext ctx)
{
	return ctx.getServerHandler().playerEntity;
}

And yes - tho it's client (in client method) you still need to check if it really is client.

1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.
