I was creating an api for my mod and I was just wondering how the @API annotation works exactly as I couldn't find any resources about it.

  The version you are using is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support. Currently supported versions are 1.19 (Latest) and 1.18.2 (LTS).

  Make sure the installation in your launcher is actually set to use the updated version.

  You can use RenderPlayerEvent.Pre to hide these parts of the model. Look at PlayerRenderer#setModelProperties for how to modify their visibility.
