[17.10] Changing a vanilla block's item drops with a modded item?

I'm pretty new to modding, but I was wondering if there was a way to drop multiple items when a vanilla block is destroyed with a modded item. Any help would be appreciated!

    HarvestDropsEvent check if harvested by player, check item (remember != null), change dropped items list.

    1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.
