[1.7.10] Rendering a Custom Block Model?

Hi, I was wondering how I would get a new block with a custom techne model into the game.

I'm kind of new here. Is there something I did to make people not want to respond? I don't want to upset anyone, I just want to know what to do next time I post.

One guy who has done a lot with block models is TheGreyGhost. It seems he's been converting his site to make 1.8 tutorial more prominent, but you can probably root around to find the 1.7.10 versions.
