Can't see the survivalist mod

Hello all,

 

I'm a returning Minecraft player. I've not played in a long time and I love surivalism and since I already own Minecraft it makes sense to just mod it.

 

These are the steps I've taken.

 

* I've installed Forge

* I've edited the profile so it uses a forge-altered version of the minecraft client

* I've copied the 'Survivalist Mod-1.4.1-a.jar' to the 'C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods' location as instructed.

 

When I start MC it shows as recognising Forge but not the mod. I'm obviously missing something stupid and I thought it'd be easier asking here than banging my head against the wall.

I've allowed the folder to be recreated. I've also renamed 'Survivalist Mod-1.4.1-a.jar' to '1.jar'

 

Thanks for your help. If I figure out why this is happening I'll post here.
