Alright so apparently after switching my packet method and implementing it, it got the bright idea to just quit working. Basically it will encode it properly on the server but for whatever reason the client can't figure out how to decode the message. I am looking at PacketClientUpdate which works fine server-side, just not client-side.

No, it appears that I needed to have nullary constructors for whatever reason. It seems to be working for now. Ty

I was still reading your code so I dont found the reason right now :'D

 AbstractPacket pkt = clazz.newInstance();

you are creating a new instance of the class there, without arguments, thats why it failed before because it was unable to find the nullary constructor.
