So, my Minecraft was glitched, and I had forgotten to back it up so I deleted and then reinstalled Minecraft, and when I went to install the latest version of Forge for 1.8 it was saying that the "Java Runtime Environment" was missing. I'm assumed this meant Java wasn't installed(even though I KNEW it was, because I was literally just playing minecraft like half an hour before I had to reinstall it), but I double checked and it definitely was. I hope I've posted this in the right place, but can someone help me with this?

Then it should work fine...

You should give us as much information as you can.

That's basically everything I know. I guess I could try reinstalling Java, but other than that I don't know what to do.
