[1.7.10]Can't get tree to generate in the world

Ive been working on my new mod but am having issues getting it to spawn in the world. It can grow from a sapling.

hate to say I can't really help you, as I've only worked on deconstructing trees before - but I felt the need to drop in and say how much I love this mod idea. We could all use a spicier life.
