October 30, 20159 yr If you have only server side at your disposal (meaning no client input events), then normal approach allows you to only track "all" movements (with any cause) with PlayerTickEvent. However there is a way of tracking player input. You would have to catch incoming movement packets sent by client to server. http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,34566.0.html As said - client and server does it similar way. Note: Advanced modding. 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.
