Question about mod and Mac

Hi,

 

I'm a mom to a 9 year old minecraft addict. Somehow I successfully installed the pixelmon mod but when he plays it only shows in the lower left quadrant of the screen. We have a Mac. Can someone help me?

Thank you.  I tried adding -Dforge.forceNoStencil=true to the JVM arguments but it didn't work - still quarter screen
