Posted February 8, 20169 yr good days i have made some vertical slabs for mi structures and want to make recipes for them but i stuck whith this little detail //vertical slabs GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabRoble00, 9, 0), new Object[] {" P ", " P ", " P ", 'P', Blocks.planks, // planks oak ?? 'L', Blocks.wool , }); i made slabs for oak darkOak soruce birch acacia and jungle and want the recipes to go whith the maching material but in the blocks section there is only "Blocks.planks" how do this or i have to do something like Blocks.planks .withProperty(VARIANT, BlockPlanks.EnumType.DARK_OAK); thanks for reading
February 8, 20169 yr 0 Oak Wood Planks 1 Spruce Wood Planks 2 Birch Wood Planks 3 Jungle Wood Planks 4 Acacia Wood Planks 5 Dark Oak Wood Planks source: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Data_values#Wood and then use new ItemStack(Blocks.planks, amount, metadata from above) "My Crew is World Wide." 「ヤング • エルトウ」
February 8, 20169 yr 1) Why does your recipe have spaces around the P's? Wouldn't a 1-wide recipe work? 2) Why do you define 'L' as wool when it's not used in the recipe? 3) (Naked) Block properties do NOT survive recipe calls. The 1st thing that happens is that each block is wrapped in a default item-stack with metadata = 0 (ignoring block state). If you want your recipe to treat all plank subtypes as equall, then employ the Block as you're doing. On the other hand, if you want to specify each subtype, then you must wrap the plank block inside an item stack call that defines how many (usually 1) and which metadata value. To do a whole sequence, put the recipe call inside a loop through the metadata values (and don't forget to specify the metadata value in your output item-stack too). The debugger is a powerful and necessary tool in any IDE, so learn how to use it. You'll be able to tell us more and get better help here if you investigate your runtime problems in the debugger before posting.
February 8, 20169 yr Author what not aware than block metadatas can be worked as item metadatas either from the shortcut i think always you must be especific whith blank spaces anayway is solved so thanks GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabRoble00, 9, 0), new Object[] {"P", "P", "P", 'P', new ItemStack( Blocks.planks ,1 ,0) }); GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabPicea00, 9, 0), new Object[] {"P", "P", "P", 'P', new ItemStack( Blocks.planks ,1 ,1) }); GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabAbedul00, 9, 0), new Object[] {"P", "P", "P", 'P', new ItemStack( Blocks.planks ,1 ,2) }); GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabJungla00, 9, 0), new Object[] {"P", "P", "P", 'P', new ItemStack( Blocks.planks ,1 ,3) }); GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabAcacia00, 9, 0), new Object[] {"P", "P", "P", 'P', new ItemStack( Blocks.planks ,1 ,4) }); GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(MercenaryModBlocks.slabRobleOscuro00, 9, 0), new Object[] {"P", "P", "P", 'P', new ItemStack( Blocks.planks ,1 ,5) });
