Hi i was searching on the forum first before posting this to see if anyone else had this issue but unfortunately it's not the same issue exactly.  So i'm posting this.

On Minecraft 1.8.9 when loading forge 1.8.9 - 11.15.1.1722 or forge 1.8.9 - 11.15.1.1764 on a clean install of Minecraft after it loads it brings up the Minecraft menu but unfortunately it's blacked out.  You can click it and if you get lucky you can hear buttons being pressed but can't see anything.

Works fine loading Minecraft normal and with works fine with 1.8.9-OptiFine_HD_U_H3 loaded but forge is Blacked out after loading at the Minecraft menu.  Anyone have a idea why?

Java is updated so are the drivers.

Here's a pic.

Does this happen with just forge? No Optifine?

Optifine and the normal version works great.  It's just forge that's the issue.

When i opened the Minecraft Launcher 1.6.59 and selected forge i clicked on "Edit Profile"

Check marked "Resolution" 1920x1080 i was able to get the Menu to show but if i resize it will go black. Just to get it to show i had to restart minecraft 4 times to get lucky.  I took a quick video to show you.  Hope this helps.

No.  As i mentioned I did a clean install of Minecraft and installed forge only.  Did that  to make sure nothing else was interfering with forge.

That seemed to have worked.  I try'd to make it go black and no luck.  Thanks man!

For anyone else with this issue.  Go to:

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config

Open splash.properties with notepad.exe

Set enabled to false  (enabled=false)

Again Thanks.
