I am currently trying to render a laptop which will, when shift + r-clicked, open and close the screen, but I am having trouble with rendering the actual screen onto the base of the laptop. The base of the laptop renders fine, but the screen is not rendering at all.

All of the code can be found on my github here:

https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/tree/master/ComputerMod1.8.9

TESR class:

https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/blob/master/ComputerMod1.8.9/src/main/java/thexnator/computermod/tileentity/render/LaptopRenderer.java

TE class:

https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/blob/master/ComputerMod1.8.9/src/main/java/thexnator/computermod/tileentity/TileEntityLaptop.java

Block class:

https://github.com/TheXnator/TheXnatorsMods/blob/master/ComputerMod1.8.9/src/main/java/thexnator/computermod/blocks/BlockLaptop.java

I believe that the issue is the TESR class not being called for some reason because when using a sysout in the class to check if it is doing anything, nothing is printed to the console.

You have your TESR registration call in

ClientProxy#init()

, but you never call that method.
