Reading NBT Data for Teleport Mod

So, I am trying to finish the teleportation mod that Mr. Crayfish did on youtube teaching 1.8 modding.  In a nutshell he made an item that stored the coordinates of a block that was clicked by an item in that item(which works) and then you would do something(didn't finish) and when you did that thing you would teleport back to the cached coordinates in the item.  The problem is the whole teleporting thing to a saved location in NBT data, I don't know how to read the NBT data and use it in the playerInl.setPosition() command.  That is what I need help with, I will upload my entire mod to github, if someone could please help me figure out how to read the x, y, and z coordinates from their respective NBT data counterparts and use them to teleport to the location it would be amazing.  Or if anybody could link me to a project that uses it.
