So i've got my custom crops working thanks too diesieben. However when they are planted, Waila shows the correct texture, but once they grow past 0%, it changes to a purple/black texture, and i can't figure out why, could anyone help me once more? Ill post some screenshots, let me know what code, or json files you want to see.

 

this is actually a question about waila, and not minecraft forge. but i think you can choose, which texture is used by waila.

Yeah but it's my problem, with my mod, not Wailia's. So i did something wrong, im just not sure what it is i need to do to make it still show the texture past 0%.

Waila does that for even vanilla crops, so I wouldn't worry about it.
