Launcher 1.10 Not Switching To Forge

When I try to switch Minecraft 1.10 to Forge for 1.8, the message still displays "Welcome Shaakti02, Ready to play Minecraft 1.10. I have tried removing my mods but that hasn't worked and I can't find help anywhere. Any ideas?
