Posted October 1, 20169 yr Is there a way to override the texture for a filled universal bucket of a new fluid? Currently you're not given many options when you call FluidRegistry.addBucketForFluid() If this isn't doable right now, I think it might make a good feature.
October 2, 20169 yr I don't understand what you mean The Universal Bucket uses the ModelDynBucket item model, which is dynamically retextured with the still texture of the Fluid contained in it. The OP wants a way to change which texture is used by ModelDynBucket , which to my knowledge isn't currently possible. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

December 16, 20177 yr Well, the word "possible" is a strong word. Of course you could change it with enough work, but I'm not aware of any easy Forge hook for it. The idea with the current implementation is that it mainly is intended to show the fluid color. You may want to create a pull request for Forge to add the feature.
