Pretty simple, is super-classing the vanilla MineCraft blocks/item/whatever a good idea?

The reason I ask is that I'm looking at doing something with a modified Leaves Block and I want to know if super-classing BlockLeaves is a smart move

extend/super whatever classes you want, as long as you do not edit the actual classes

  https://pastebin.com/04YP4hB1 Usually whenever you have an issue of this sort reading the "at" messages usually reveals the mod responsible, but I can't find anything. I am getting back into modpack dev (and Minecraft as a whole) after around 8 months of not touching it, so I went to update an old modpack of mine and that's how I've come to this error.
