Go to https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/ and click on the version you need, then click the installer button to download it. -
When I try to open the forge installer using the java -jar command it doesn't work. I'm using Fedora 40. The log file If I say --installServer that works but I don't want to install the server.

every time I try to go home, the chunks stop loading and the mobs stop moving. and it never ever returns to normal until I force close the game thru task manager and reopen the game. but, every time I reopen the game I am back at my location where I was trying to go home. can someone please help me? here is my crash log -

I want to create a completely new Entity Class (exactly like the Vanilla Entity Class) but has more Properties and Fields for my Mod. For Example I want to add a new Property to add Types (Elemental, Dark, Physical, Magical etc.) this will add automatically Weakness and Strengths to the Entity. Or should I add these "Types" when an Entity is spawned?
