So, my friend and I just downloaded and installed forge obviously because we both want to mod. His is working fine after crashing a couple times, but for whatever reason every time I try to start minecraft after the launch it just crashes. I definitely have it installed, the user is set to forge, but it still just won't work.

I have no idea what any of this means, so help would be greatly appreciated!! note: i have nothing else installed other than a texture pack, so basically vanilla minecraft, and i'm using forge version 1.10.2

UPDATE: just realised i had optifine installed. Kind of feel like a dumbass, lmao. I got rid of it and it appears  to be working now... I guess I'll update if it stops.  :P
