Forge ModelLoader: Grass Model not found

Featured Replies

Forge Version: forge-1.11.2-13.20.0.2203

Used Mods: OptiFine_1.11.2_HD_U_B5 (loaded in forge) only

Research done: tried to disable some features in OF which are linked to the grass texture, no success; used search in this forum, did some google...

What I see: In game, grass textures are those purple squared things.

Game Output:

[22:58:40] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML]: Exception loading model for variant minecraft:grass#snowy=false
net.minecraftforge.client.model.ModelLoaderRegistry$LoaderException: Exception loading model minecraft:grass#snowy=false with loader VariantLoader.INSTANCE, skipping

One of the ResourcePacks you have installed is broken. Or Optifine. This is not a forge issue.

However when I run OF with the same resource packs just without forge, the grass texture works...

Please link the resource packs you are using.

Since I use several resource packs I tested them one by one and realized that the Game Output error only appears when using "Herr Sommer" from 1.10.

I downloaded the pack from http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/herrsommer-10---v1/ where somebody else has mentioned the same issue.

Thank you for having me find the issue :)
