When Launching Minecraft after installing Forge, it is stuck on Launcher

I downloaded forge client for 1.8.9 (latest) and I am stuck on this blue bar. I close it and reopen it and it always gives me something else Please help ASAP. like it says "downloading scala-...

Also, update to 1.10.2, or 1.11.2. 1.8.9 is old and stops being supported soon.
