    public int brightness(int side) {
        if((sampled & 1 << side) == 0) {
            BlockPos bp = pos.pos();
            IBlockState b = access.getBlockState(bp);
            brightness[side] = access.getCombinedLight(bp, b.getBlock().getLightValue(b, access, bp));
            sampled |= 1 << side;
        }

On BlockPos bp = pos.pos(); I'm getting a error. This code os from codechickenlib 1.8 and I need it to convert and I don't know how to do it. Can anyone help me?

Without more context, we can't help you.

Also, CodeChickenLib is already updated to 1.10.2: https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/242818-codechicken-lib-1-8 . Why update again?

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

You say you get an error, but not what it is. Learn enough Java to interpret simple errors. Come back when you have a Forge mystery.

Isn't "codechicken" a core mod? If this mod is using an API to a core-mod, then Forge might not be right for you. If this isn't even about a Forge mod, then the Forge forum is definitely not the right place to find help.

The debugger is a powerful and necessary tool in any IDE, so learn how to use it. You'll be able to tell us more and get better help here if you investigate your runtime problems in the debugger before posting.
