Will switching between forge & vanilla corrupt anything?

Lets say I create a map in 1.11 and play around in it, then sometime later I load up the same map in 1.11 forge (for this example there are no mods, just forge alone) and run that for a while. After some time of playing with forge I go back to vanilla 1.11 (just using 1.11 as an example, I'd assume it's the same with all versions) would I corrupt anything?

The reason I ask is because I'd like to install mods like inventory tweaks and a Minimap, but I don't want to corrupt anything and want to be sure that I can swap between Vanilla and a forge profile with mods that don't add any new blocks/mobs (like damage indicators, inventory tweaks, ect.) and not corrupt anything.

If you don't have any mods that add new things, you should be fine switching between the two. But you should always make a backup before switching just in case.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.
