So I've been going through the setup process for IntelliJ, and it went smoothly for the most part, however when I reached this step:

  1. Finally, assuming you use IDEA 2016 or newer, you will have to fix the classpath module. Go to Edit configurations and in both Minecraft Client and Minecraft Server, change Use classpath of module to point to the task with a name like <project>_main.

I wasn't able to find what it was talking about under Edit Configurations. The version of IntelliJ I am on is 2016.3.4.

Have you ran genIntelliJruns?

Oh. I understand now. You are having trouble finding the Use Classpath Of Module? If so, here's a picture:

Edit: Sorry, I had to edit that picture real quick. It revealed confidential info.

Sorry about that. I forgot I had edited my program arguments to use my minecraft account.

Edit: I hadn't circled where it is, I've updated it again.

Have you found Edit Configurations? If so the setting you want is between Environment Variables an use alternative JRE. There is a dropdown menu that might say something like <no module>. Change that to your main directory.

Just where you extracted forge. Like where your build.gradle, src/main folder, etc are.

I guess so. Now that I think of it, I don't think I had to do that either.
