Need help stopping Minecraft Forge from updating.

I am trying to play 1.4.6 without having the MC Forge from updating. I need to know how to stop this process and still able to play Minecraft. I am trying to get Computercraft and RedPower on at the same time, but Redpower needs to be at 1.4.6 and Forge keeps updating and causing me so much stress with this.
