Hi all,

I'm having a spot of trouble getting Forge 1.6.4 965 to work correctly (I'm running Java 8). I followed along with the download, and everything seems to be in order until I try to actually launch Forge, then it disappears without an error message (similar to the problem described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxufZazIbCY) I followed along with the video (as well as this walkthrough: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2206446-forge-1-6-4-1-7-2-java-8-compatibility-patch) but without luck. It seems to come off the rails when it has me replace the CoreModManager.class file, because there are actually 3 very similarly named files that seem not to appear in the video (CoreModManager.class, CoreModManager$1.class, CoreModManager$2.class, and CoreModManager$FMLPluginWrapper.class) When I replace the file with the patch from the post, I still have the same problem, and so I'm not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated!
