Posted January 26, 201312 yr I was wondering if forge could include a permissions api so mod makers could all use the same permissions for precise control over what their tools can break based on who placed the block and who is trying to destroy the block. I know many server owners would be overjoyed if they could trust that their server wouldn't be griefed. Whitelists can only do so much. Plus this would enable fully capable ports of favorite mods such as Towny, factions, etc. But then again this is only a suggestion. Thank you for making Forge and have a nice day
January 28, 201312 yr That is pretty much exactly what you could do with my suggested hook at http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,3237.0.html So yea, I really hope they add this soon It's actually not to many lines of code needed for Forge to make it.
