other mod in your own mod but how to use?

I would like e.g. ic2 copper ore in my mod prescription use then how do I add the code?

 

I like the api or src files in my mod but I know how I insert then Program the more I know not. how can I make things from another mod to use in my own mod.?

 

e.g. I would also like to use a block in ic2 macerrator and since then is what else come out dust for example. how do I write the code so I can use my block in the maccerator?
