Hi,

 

how would I create a new version (on mac) when I don't want to run the installer? I created a folder forge-1.10.2 in "/Users/iheinrich/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions" and copied forge-1.10.2-12.18.3.2254-universal.jar forge-1.10.2.jar to it. However, the launcher doesn't recognize it. What did I miss?

    I can't. I don't have admin on this macbook, and the jar is from an unverified developer. The Minecraft also is in my userspace Applications folder.

    Is it just the json and the entry in launcher_profiles which is missing?
