How to get forge, not forge modloader

I've been trying to download forge (Not forge mod loader) for the past few days to get a certain mod, however after a few hours I gave up. Just now I realised (see screenshot) that it says FML in the corner of the start menu, which I assume stands for Forge Mod Loader. Could someone guide me towards downloading just forge (If it still exists) rather then FML.

FML and Forge come in the same JAR/installer. You have both installed.

Thanks for letting me know, so when a mod I'm trying to play crashes for no apparent reason during instillation (what it says on the loader screen thingy) it's unrelated?

Also is there anywhere I can ask for support on the forums for this crashing issue?

Yes, it wouldn't be caused by not having Forge installed.

 

Post the FML log (logs/fml-client-latest.log in the game directory) using  Gist/Pastebin if you want help with the crash.

Thank you  - https://pastebin.com/nqgN4uin I think this is it, had to force shut it in task manager though. Don't know if that'll effect anything.
