There isn't a lot of info regarding avatars, and my search didn't bring anything up. What I would like to know is:

 

The supported file types.

The maximum and minimum dimensions.

The maximum and minimum file size.

 

I can't seem to upload a .jpg file. I've tried many sizes

    tried .png and jpg, 100x100, 150x150, 200x200, 300x300, 600x600. keep getting this message:

     

    The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

     

    So yeah. neither work. I'm going to assume there's a file size/type issue.

    Heres how to upload an avatar:

    1. go to image website

    2. upload

    3. right click on the image "copy image url"

    4. now go to your avatar setting and paste in url
