Banned from Forums for no reason

I had created a forums account yesterday to hopefully get some help (from the experienced modders here on the forums) with this mod I'm working on. I logged in this morning to find out I was banned from the forums, and I have no idea what I could have possibly done to get banned. I never got an email about it, so I have no idea. Everywhere I try to go on the forums, even to my own profile page, it just says I'm banned and do not have permission to view the page. I even hit the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page to ask the admins about it, but I really don't think they are getting my messages because I don't even have access to my PM inbox.

I know that what I am doing right now will most likely get me IP banned for ban evasion, but I just need to know what I did wrong. I hadn't even had the account for 24 hours, only created one thread for this question I had, and the next thing I know, I get banned. There was no rules thread for the Modder Support forum, so I just assumed we follow the same rules in the General forum. Please don't ban this account, but please tell me what I could have possibly done wrong. I am only looking for help from the modding community. :)
