  • Please download the .jar version of the installer (not the Installer-Win variant).
  • Open the folder containing the downloaded file in Windows Explorer.
  • Hold down shift and right-click an empty space, then select "Open command window here".
  • In the new window type java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar [name of the installer], replacing [name of the installer] with the complete file name of the installer, including the .jar file extension. Then hit enter.

And i have
Error: Unable acess jarfile =

3) i press schift and ppm and i opened  "Open command window here".
4) I typed  java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1890-1.8.9-installer
and i still have "Error: Unable to access jarfile forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1890-1.8.9-installer

Uh. so how exactly did you do this. because I'm running into this same issue with a 1.7.10 build of forge and I have no modding/server creation experience at all. and maybe if its not a bother, a guide on how to create a twitch server without port forwarding or a thirdparty download?
