June 20, 20178 yr A Forge client should be able to connect to a vanilla server as long as none of the installed mods are required on the server side. You shouldn't need to do anything special to connect to a Realms server. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
