If you are on mac you most likely cannot run Jar files by double-clicking them, you need to run them from the terminal, google will give you plenty of instructions for that. Why are you using Java 7? You should be using Java 8. Java 7 was easier to install then java 8 update 11, and because of basically the first sentence here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2206446-forge-1-6-4-1-7-2-java-8-compatibility-patch also the video was showing how to fix the forge crash, I was able to run the .jar file because of a application that converted them into zip files. Do you have an answer to my problem? I don't see why you responded, no offense (dont ban me)
July 8, 20178 yr Update to Java 8 update 131, it works perfectly well. The post you linked is 3 years old. The issue has been fixed since a long time. Then launch again.
July 8, 20178 yr Author ok, Ill just reinstall minecraft to get the proper files in and still use java 7, that should work fine'
