Posted July 17, 20178 yr Hello! I, for technical reasons, have to use the old Minecraft launcher for the game to function and that was fine until I discovered mods and forge. I intend on using the latest forge version with my Minecraft but I'm not aware if it is compatible since I have the old Minecraft launcher. When I downloaded the newest Forge version and installed it correctly (I followed instructions) it didn't appear in my Profiles/Game version list. Is this a known issue or is it due to me not installing the software correctly? (Also, I apologize if I have posted this incorrectly, I'm new to forums!!)
