I did everything that is shown in all turtorials video for port forwarding mc but when i check if my port is open it says its closed or not found

 

Someone please help. my friend gets the message :cant reach server

well first off

 

1 i made a new port (start port 25565) (end port 25565) And used Ipv4 adress and turned TCP and udp and i saved it

also disabled the router firewall and my isp is disabled too

anyone can help i've been trying so hard to fix this

ok so i got a ZET ZXNH H108L Rout

 

1:I press NAT

2:I press Virtual Server

3:I select protocal=all

4:i type the 25565 port where it says end port and start port

5:Local Ip adress : Ipv4

 

That's all

where to find my local ip? isnt it Ipv4?

 

i searched *my local ip adress* and it showed the same ip as the Ipv4

Which site? And you might have done a mistake. Which ip did did give? (ipv4 or public?)

Did you open the port both for TCP and UDP?

Yes i did 

Weird i used a different site and it says 25565/tcp filtered minecraft

Why is this happening  my friend still cant join

Is the port forwarding really the problem? like is there any site i can check if my port is on when i turn on my mc server?

 

Or its maybe some firewall

I solved it 

 

I turned both firewalls off and it worked i mean Windows firewall and Avast now i just need to learn to allow the minecraf threw the firewall systems

 

I turn them off when i start the server. And after i am done opening it and my friend joins it i enable them
