Hi i'm trying to open minecraft with forge 1.12 with 3 mods but it keeps crashing. When i press play from the launcher using Forge it shows that Minecraft opens but the window doesn't, and then the launcher shows that the game crashed. PLZ HELP!!!

I fixed the problem by moving the 1.8.9 mod out of the folder for now. But i mostly play on 1.8.9 for pvp. How do i keep the mod and play 1.12 with forge without deleting it?

In the launcher, give the profile for each version a separate game directory.
