Forge can't install?

Forge refuses to install. I have tried every download type on the forge website: installers and more. I cannot find a log for what is happening. Whenever I try to use one of the .jar or .zip installer files, it just opens into a folder and I can't find anything to put into my .minecraft folder, nor does the launcher screen open. I am running Mac OS on a custom pc. I can not find any information online. If anyone who can perhaps help me needs more information, just tell me.

2 Weeks ago i got a new laptop and installed on it curseforge and normal minecraft and java, and wanted initialy to test how some modpacks would run to then start a new world to play when i had time.
Fresh windows 11 install, i wouldn't think anything could happen but bam error -1073741819, and i can't find any way to remedy this. I reinstalled java, updated drivers, reinstalled minecraft, launchers, even prism launcher, tried eclipse temurium instead of normal java... nothing seems to work

okay so, for reference im using The Obsessed mod, (not sure if it helps, but might as well include it), and it shows the driver issue popup in the logs, so i go through the three solutions, but it still pops up and minecraft doesnt. can i have some help? thanks! :)
