I've set the JAVA_HOME system value and ran gradlew setupDecompWorkspace in a cmd tab but it spit out this error:

??: ??  ??? org.gradle.wrapper.GradleWrapperMain?(?) ?????? ? ????.

What Should I do?

Nothing of what you've said helps us in any way, only that we know that there's an error. Please post the full output of gradlew setupDecompWorkspace.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

Try running the following command in Windows Powershell instead. I've found that Windows 10 sometimes likes it more. (You can open Powershell in the "file" tab of the explorer menu).

.\gradlew setupDecompWorkspace

I've no idea why cmd doesn't work on certain win10 instances, but Powershell does. Even though they're slowly trying to transfer over from cmd, it should still work.

Follow these rules when talking to me, and we'll get along fine.

1).I know Java fairly well. I don't know as much about modding. They are not the same, don't compare them.

2). I consider myself to always be learning. I make mistakes, you make mistakes. Who doesn't?

3). Insult me, and I will leave the thread. I have a real life, I don't have time to throw petty insults in a Minecraft Modding forum.
