I need to ask a noob question to you guys:

How to make a GUI?

The tutorial I'm following is for 1.8.9 so I don't know is it suitable for me.

    I don't think a lot has changed with respect to GUIs since 1.8.9. I don't recall changing much at all when I updated from 1.8.9 to 1.11.2.

     

    Jabelar's GUI page is probably still quite relevant.
