CodeChicken Crashes

on 1.12.2 forge I am trying to use extreme reactors, which requires brandonscore, which requires codechicken 3.1.1 or above. everything works fine and can load from the launcher until I try to use codechicken. the crash gives me this information: The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail
Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from Brandon's Core (brandonscore)

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

The settings.gradle file has been fixed. But, the build.gradle has an error now.
Error:

[SOLVED][1.21.8 | Forge 58.0.5] How to cancel InputEvent.MouseScrollingEvent?

Personally, I just use event.SetCanceled(true) in my handler and it blocks the scroll well.
Even if the method does not appear clear, it is available via the Cancellable interface.
It works at home without additional hacks.
