Posted March 27, 20187 yr I want to run a forge (modded) server (just with me and my friends, I know how to run a vanilla server, I have done it) and I installed the latest version of 1.7.10 (I made the modpack, all the best mods seem to be on that version and I sent it to my friends) So I downloaded it and I clicked install server, it loaded a little bit and then it stoped, and error message read that it had failed to download some stuff in the library folder, i googled it and the only thing I got was that I had to download it manually, so I did that, put them in my library folder... It actually worked, for most of them. There were these two, org.scala-Lang.plugins.scala-continuations-library_2.11:1.0.2 and org.scala-Lang.plugins.scala-continuations-plugin_2.11.1:1.0.2, they did not work, I tried getting them from different places, but there was literally only ONE website that I could download all those from, there was one or two but I could not do different versions, but I still tried them. Forge somehow never read them as in the folder, maybe they were wrong, or the originals were deleted? I know that way works, it did with the others, so I need to know where I can find a place to get working ones, have forge read those, or just have forge learn to download stuff in the first place! The closest thing I got to an answer was someone had the same problem and just decided to do forge 1.8, but I already spent all this time getting to this point. And before you ask, I already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
March 27, 20187 yr Author The logs basically said that Lang.plugins.scala-continuations-library_2.11:1.0.2 and org.scala-Lang.plugins.scala-continuations-plugin_2.11.1:1.0.2 failed to download
