Trying to use the latest Forge development kit doesn't work with Eclipse Oxygen.3A, which is the latest recommended version of eclipse; it its shows none of the source files or libraries, and gives this error message:

The project description file (.project) for 'MDKExample' is missing.  This file contains important information about the project.  The project will not function properly until this file is restored.

This is after running gradle setupDecompWorkspace and gradle eclipse successfully.  It also doesn't work with eclipse 3.8 (though no message is given).  Yes, it does work with some versions in between, though Eclipse pushes Oxygen.3A as the version to use.
