Hey,

My minecraft is not launching after I click play on the launcher . I have to go to task manager then force-stop 2 minecraft launchers , then I have to click minecraft launcher again . And then without me even pressing play it starts up. I think it may be an error between the connection of forge. I had troubles downloading libraries for forge then I just copy pasted it from my old .minecraft since I tried to fix the problem myself but I didnt succeed.

LOG from the minecraft launcher :

i dont get this?

  • Be sure to include the entire logs/debug.log (logs/fml-{client/server}-latest.log for versions before 2629) found in your .minecraftfolder / server root folder. Not including the log in no way helps us to help you and has a small chance of getting you banned.

If you are running a server it is called fml-server-latest.log, on the client it is fml-client-latest.log.

There is no such file? I thinks theres something wrong with the libraries bcs thats what it says on the launcher. You do realise that minecraft doesnt open after I press play right?

I think I cant get connection to the forge website since "Couldn't get hash for net/minecraftforge/forge/1.8.9-11.15.1.1722/forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1722.jar from http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.8.9-11.15.1.1722/forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1722.jar.sha1: HTTP 404: Not Found"   .

so that mean maybe that Im not getting connection to the forge website to get libraries and thats why its not working? But I dont know why it would not be getting hash's or libraries apart maybe from my firewall? Also when installing the Forge 1.8.9 it said It couldnt install libraries and I had to manually download them and drag them into there folders...

Yes, I do realize. However this log file should always be generated.

At this point I can only recommend you update to a version of Minecraft that is not ancient.

If you click on the link provided it also says 404 not found

That is fine, the launcher is not supposed to download these files (that's why the installer exists). Out of curiosity: What launcher are you using?

Do not download things manually! If you have problems with the installer, post the installer log.

I am using the official minecraft launcher. Also how do I get the installer log?

The installer generates it when it runs.

You are using Powershell, not the command line. Type cmd and press enter once you are in the power shell and then continue with the rest of the instructions.

We appear to be missing one or more essential library files.
You will need to add them to your server before FML and Forge will run successfully.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch

Since there seems to be a bug with the log generating (or you are unable to find it) I cannot diagnose the problem.

All I can tell you is to update Forge.

Ok . Ill try to find the log again
